About Engage Colorado

Colorado's Journey to Become the World's Top Innovation Ecosystem

Engage Colorado launched in April 2026, sparked by the grassroots coalition that came together to Ensure Colorado's Innovation Future.

The vision of Engage Colorado is to unite Coloradans around the values that make this state great, unique, and special — collaboration, aspiration, and innovation. The Innovation Vision is:

Colorado will be the most attractive innovation ecosystem in the world — and every Coloradan will share in the economic and cultural prosperity that results from being the world's leading geography for innovation.

No modern community thrives without a strong tech sector. This publication leans into that truth and celebrates Colorado's strengths in Space, Quantum, Digital Infrastructure, Energy and Minerals, Health Sciences, Ag Tech, and the Outdoor Industry. We'll champion the work of making Colorado the best tech ecosystem in the world — and we'll push for the pragmatic policies that turn a thriving economy into world-class education, healthcare, jobs, culture, recreation, and infrastructure for everyone who calls this state home.

Above all, we'll work to respect one another — for our differences as much as for what we share.

What this is

Engage Colorado is an independent publishing platform focused on articles, newsletters, and commentary about Colorado's future — its leadership, public policy, economic opportunity, and long-term success.

This platform was established as a vehicle to support thoughtful, substantive public engagement with the ideas and initiatives shaping our state. It is designed to provide flexibility of authorship and perspective, allowing contributors to write freely and without institutional constraint.

Engage Colorado is an independent publishing vehicle and is not affiliated with any coalition, political organization, or advocacy group. Unless otherwise indicated, the views expressed in articles and newsletters are those of Dan Caruso.

This independence is intentional. It gives contributors the room to engage honestly with complex policy questions — without the constraints that come with coalition membership or organizational affiliation.
