Faith Remains in Me for a Colorado Renaissance

Phil Weiser and Dan Caruso is not who Bruce Springsteen had in mind when he wrote these oh-so-sweet words:

Congratulations, AG — and soon-to-be Governor — Phil Weiser.

With this victory comes huge responsibility.

Will Colorado continue its slide toward driving entrepreneurs, innovation, and capital to Texas and Florida — and in doing so, rob all of Colorado of the benefits of a vibrant economy? Will the socialism movement make its way from New York to Colorado?

Or will Phil Weiser reverse the negative trend, regain tech-sector momentum, and lead Colorado to be the big winner as capital continues its exodus from California? Will he craft a Colorado Way by using a vibrant economy to benefit all Coloradans? Will he reverse course on the divisiveness that exists and be a force of unity that brings the people of Colorado together? Will he focus on what is best for Colorado even when it means deviating from the demands of the extreme-left wing of the national Democratic Party?

I am going to show a lot of faith, and bet on there being magic in tonight.

And I am going to do what I can to encourage and assist Phil in achieving what I voted for — a Colorado Renaissance.
